Ransom eye future draft picks More Korver on the way as luckeechief hopes to draft Klayton, Kaleb (wire services) February 2007Unable
to reach any major trade deals this week, KORVER's Ransom GM
luckeechief turned his attention to future Korver acquisitions.
Technically, the Ransom are unable to officially begin courting the amateur Korvers. But that didn't stop Klayton Korver from expressing his wishes to join Team Shocker and the Ransom. "I already stuck it to Creighton pretty good when I chose Drake over Team Bluejay," he said. "My brother says Team Shocker chains him to an engine block in a garage, but he gets to eat as many Big Montanas from Arby's as he wants. That sounds like a kickass deal to me." And with two of his brothers already on the Ransom roster, Kurt Korver didn't rule out going to the NBA straight out of Iowa prep basketball. "I mean, the Ransom already give Boris Diaw a roster spot," he said. "I think I could beat that dude out for playing time." About KORV€R's Ransom KORV€R's Ransom is the fantasy basketball division of Team Shocker.
