Ayers, Schroeder agree to trade Ransom add FirePauer, Revenge Tour gets Dirk OMAHA, Neb. - February 2008For
the second time in as many years KORV€R's
Ransom made a trade to acquire Pau Gasol as part of a February push
towards mediocrity.
"Unlike Steve Pedersen, we're prepared to surrender the CBA to the Sol's, Shows, YES! and Tours," Ransom GM luckeechief said. "We're the class of the consolation bracket. Last year's Pau deal boosted jersey sales and it makes sense financially again this year." CBA sales figures are yet to be released according to Janice in the CBA league office. "The trade isn't official until Monday, pending league approval" Janice added. Ayers plans on putting a jihad on other CBA managers en route to the fantasy basketball playoffs. Last year's champ is waiting the weeds and now has the German Diggler. "Dirka Dirka Dirka mohamed jibad," uttered Ayers. Not included in the deal was Sasha Vujacic who used his no-trade clause to remain with Ayers and the Revenge Tour. Sasha cited his desire to play for a playoff team and not follow his Laker teammate Pau to the Ransom. "That's fine," Ransom VP of Operations Stephen Taylor said. "It's not like Ben is going to trade for Lakers two at a time. If you're looking for Noah's Ark, Janice can give you directions."
