Trade Fallout: What league managers are saying PAPIO, Neb., January 2007A
recent trade between Europe's Game and KORV€R's Ransom has set
the
CBA fantasy basketball league ablaze with speculation. Both teams
involved in the trade have been perfect since Christmas, a combined
4-0, and the trade only bolsters both teams.
A quiet hush has settled on the message board, but here's what they're whispering about bricub1908 and luckeechief. All The Way Johnson: "I'm getting handled by the Ransom this week and Europe's Game took it to me last week. So I've seen first hand what both of these teams are capable of - and let me tell you - it's wet-your-pants kind of scary. Jumpin Jehovas: Could not be reached for comment as they have not checked their lineup (or their trade desk) since Dec. 21. FC Köln: "My strategy of keeping Kevin Garnett on my bench has not paid off like I thought it would." Beida: "I'm in first place, but all I can think about are those footsteps behind me. I've got the lead, but those two just punched the nitrous." piatkowskiYES: "I hesitate to say anything about this trade after my recent fine for getting jiggy on the dance floor. But do I think they pulled off the trade of all trades? The answer is piatkowskiYES!" Altman's Army: Attempts to contact Altman's Army failed due to high levels of Jamaican rum.
