KORV€R's Ransom pulled their second trade of the season with the week five acquisition of Luol Deng.

Pending league approval, the Deng deal will officially pass through on Saturday with Troy Murphy heading to PiatkowskiYES!

"The trade fits with our overall organization of this year's squad," said luckeechief, Ransom GM and President. "In fact, our team this year is now represented by a player from every continent except Antarctica."

When asked about a 6'7" power forward Antarctic penguin who has yet to sign with an NBA team, Ransom front office personnel declined to comment.

For Deng, the Ransom will be his third team in The CBA fantasy league. He was drafted and cut by Altman's Army and has been on the piatkowskiYES! roster since early November. Murphy was selected as the next player in the '06 fantasy draft.

"I'm interested in playing for the global force being assembled by luckeechief," Deng said. "My last coach, markjlaughlin, was very good to me and I regret not putting up any better stats."

Likewise, Murphy sounded optimistic about his playing time with piatkowskiYES!

"I am moving from one 3-point shooting team to another," he said. "Plus, I won't have to learn as many languages with the guys as I did with the Ransom."
